"Grown Up Wishlist"

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say this is a "grown up" Christmas wishlist, as I have a ways to go before being deemed a "grown up" (externally and internally). Either way, I'd like to think my wishlist has evolved quite a bit over the years (now dominated by clothing and gadgets instead of American Girl dolls and craft kits). Now, I'm actually excited — thrilled even — to unwrap a nice pair of socks (whereas little Libby would've been incredibly disappointed with such boring practicality).

T'is the season of giving, as cliché as it is. I can say with utmost sincerity that I love giving gifts — and I'm not just saying that in an effort to portray myself as a morally noble person (truly, I love picking out and gifting presents to the people I love). However, I'd be lying if I said I didn't like opening up gifts myself. That being said, the people over at Spring challenged me to feature my own "Grown Up Wishlist" for this season. They're a really cool brand inspired by the array of boutiques lining NYC's Spring Street in SoHo, created to emulate the experience of having all of these shops available in one place. Check them out here!

New Year's Eve / Holiday Fashion Inspiration (!?)

A New Year's Eve post, already? I know what you're thinking: it's not even Christmas yet! Just hear me out...This is the best time of the year, undoubtedly. If you don't agree, then I'm not quite sure where your head is at or if we even live on the same planet. Nonetheless, because this is the best time of the year, making the most of it is essential. To do just that, it's important to think realistically -- to-do's, shopping lists, and timing. Timing, in particular, is crucial. Whether we like it or not, today will transpire into tomorrow, and the 25th of December will soon become the 31st. I don't know about you, but I want to have the best holiday season possible (which includes both an awesome Christmas and an amazing New Year's Eve). Soo my point? You need to get your outfits together now to avoid the stress of putting looks together last minute (just what you were thinking, I know). I promise, the enjoyability of your holiday season will only increase when you're able to comfortably shut the "what am I going to wear!?" box in your head. I've got you covered...

The luxurious Fairmont Grand Del Mar Hotel in San Diego is hosting a Grand New Year's Eve party and has challenged me to put some looks together for the big night (inspired by their stunning resort). Thus, without further adieu...
